Terms of Service
Terms governing use of the ForSilicon Research website, research materials, gated content, and related services.
Last updated: July 6, 2026
These Terms set the default rules for this website and online research services. Commercial subscriptions and advisory work may include additional written terms that take priority for that engagement.
Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the ForSilicon Research website, research materials, gated content, account features, and related online services. By accessing or using the services, you agree to these Terms.
If you use the services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
Other agreements
Some research products, subscriptions, briefings, data deliveries, or advisory engagements may be governed by a separate written agreement, order form, statement of work, nondisclosure agreement, or license terms.
If those separate terms conflict with these Terms, the separate written terms control for the applicable engagement or deliverable.
Research services and content
ForSilicon Research provides semiconductor market intelligence, research summaries, product pages, insights, reports, briefings, and related business information for professional audiences.
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services or content at any time, including gated content, report availability, product descriptions, and site features.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for activity under your account. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Access to gated content may be limited to approved users, paying clients, trial users, or other authorized audiences. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe there has been misuse, unauthorized sharing, security risk, or breach of these Terms.
Permitted use
You may use the website and any authorized research content for lawful internal business evaluation, strategy, procurement, investment research, policy, or educational purposes, subject to any applicable license terms.
Unless we agree in writing, you may not resell, redistribute, publish, scrape, copy at scale, train models on, create competing databases from, or otherwise commercialize ForSilicon Research content.
Prohibited conduct
You may not interfere with the services, bypass access controls, probe or test system security without authorization, introduce malware, use automated extraction tools, impersonate others, submit false information, or use the services in violation of law.
You may not remove proprietary notices, misrepresent the source of content, or use ForSilicon Research materials in a way that suggests our endorsement without written permission.
Intellectual property
The services and content, including text, analysis, charts, methodology, data structures, page design, trademarks, logos, and other materials, are owned by ForSilicon Research or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms or in a separate written agreement. Feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without restriction or obligation to you.
Your submissions
If you submit inquiries, messages, files, data, or other materials, you represent that you have the right to provide them and that they do not violate law or third-party rights.
You grant ForSilicon Research a limited right to use submitted information to respond to you, provide services, evaluate opportunities, maintain records, and operate our business, subject to our Privacy Policy and any applicable confidentiality terms.
No professional or investment advice
Our research content is provided for informational and business decision-support purposes only. It is not legal, tax, accounting, investment, securities, engineering certification, export-control, or other regulated professional advice.
You are responsible for independent review, due diligence, and decisions made based on the services or content.
Third-party services
The services may link to or interoperate with third-party websites, infrastructure, authentication providers, storage providers, communication tools, or other services. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information. By using the services, you acknowledge that personal information will be handled as described in that policy.
Read the Privacy Policy ->Disclaimers
The services and content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForSilicon Research disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.
Industry data, market estimates, forecasts, and company assessments may change quickly and may be based on assumptions, samples, third-party sources, or professional judgment. We do not guarantee any specific outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForSilicon Research will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, lost-profit, lost-revenue, lost-data, or business-interruption damages arising from or related to the services or content.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law or by the separate written agreement that applies to the relevant services.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ForSilicon Research from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the services, violation of these Terms, submitted materials, or violation of law or third-party rights.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to all or part of the services if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, misused content, or if continued access is no longer commercially or technically feasible.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, confidentiality where applicable, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute-related provisions.
Governing law and disputes
Any separate written agreement may specify governing law, venue, arbitration, or dispute procedures. If no separate written agreement applies, disputes will be handled under the laws applicable to the ForSilicon Research entity providing the services, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Before filing a claim, each party agrees to try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally through business-level discussions.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when this page was most recently revised. Continued use of the services after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
